“The intention of these works is to create moments of meditation…They are conjured by their own set of rules. Intuitively layering upon a vocabulary of marks, I was keen on observing what was in-between. How elements dissolve into each other or assembled together by puncturing forms. It’s by this language, composition is realized. Drawing with paint, carving into space, mixing color, a collaboration between my own recording, these elements are measured between each other creating a sense of wholeness.”
