‘Earth as Lover’ is a celebration of the natural world’s sensuality and ephemeral beauty through the lens of eco-sexuality. Inspired by Annie Sprinkle and Beth Stephens’ ongoing Ecosexual project, this exhibition showcases physical works from Lynn’s ongoing floral series, Les Fleurs.

These intimate, tactile images of flowers—sometimes still wet with life—have been captured mid-dance by a flatbed scanner. Printed on silk and embellished with delicate, intentional beading, the work pairs the meditative slowness of handcraft with the immediacy of digital technology. This fusion reflects Lynn’s practice of embracing both contemporary tools and timeless, mindful processes to honor the fleeting beauty of nature.

Everyone knows that flowers are beautiful, but how often do we slow down to gently caress a petal, breathe in its scent, or sway alongside its leaves? Lynn sees this dance of light and nature as an essential element of her artistic and life practice, inviting viewers to reflect on their own relationship with the earth—as a lover, a friend, and a source of inspiration.
