What a more appropriate time than Summer Solstice to break open the doors of an iridescent dream space created by independent designers Amalya Meira and Logan Blagg. 

Lagoon New York, located in the designers’ neighborhood of Bedstuy will function as a multifaceted space, reflecting their eclectic inspirations and attitudes. In the lagoon, Amalya and Logan’s wearable art will be available for sale alongside complementary creations in the realms of art, body, jewelry and housewares. The space will also function as a gallery featuring local artists of various mediums. The intention behind the space is grounded in sustainability, connection to nature and community engagement.

You are very much invited to Lagoon’s grand opening on June 20th! As a celebration of the new space, an inaugural group show titled “Welcome to The Lagoon” will be on view. Curated by the founders, the selection will feature artists who informed the space’s conception as well as newfound like-minded creators. Starting at noon, the event will go all day and include performances by Dj First Cut is The Deepest, DJ Sour Talk, as well as the jazz ensemble “The Quiet Quartet”.
